Once upon a time, this was the last month we were allowed to wear white without making someone blush. Now, we welcome white in all seasons, spaces, and are flat out in love. The color crush this month has more depth than some might imagine. Milk, cream, ivory, eggshell, vanilla, and pearl-- white isn't just an accent shade but deserves a spotlight all her own.
White Out
We are milking this hue for all she's worth. White interiors isn't just for the baseboards and guest room towels. While later this month we are highlighting monochrome in all shades, going all-white makes for a stunning presentation of a space. Using different textures and mediums allows you to not be restricted to one hue of cream. One of the beautiful aspects of using eggshell is how it plays with light. Natural light or lamplight and chandeliers make the palate of a white room elegant no matter the brightness. It always looks fresh and clean.
Color, neutral or bold, looks amazing as an accent in a porcelain palatted space. We love the classic black and white details, but we also love bringing a muted blue throw or a blush wall art into a white space.
