Partitions, dividers, and curtains-- the things that divide us. While we want to be close to people, we are loving these separators and the way they change up a space so quickly and beautifully. We love floating furniture and things that our walls could talk about too. Large, lofty rooms or even our dining rooms needing something special, these dividers have us cut in half and pouring our hearts out On the Pedestal.
The Space Between Us
Screens are a quick way to add interest and depth to a room. Hung on a wall, or in the backdrop, these gorgeous design choices have old work elegance and new world charm. Whether they are laser cut brass or antique oriental, screens give a space a certain sophistication unparalleled. They are truly works of art and make a space something really special. Room dividers and folding screens are a fabulous option when space is an issue. Sliding doors take up less space and keep things separated where there needs to be some distance, but without adding clutter or clogging up precious square footage.
Floating furniture is another way to save space and keep from visually cluttering a room. When "roomy" isn't the word you would use to describe your space, using acrylic and floating pieces keeps the space from feeling like every item is on top of one another. But don't feel like your space has to be small to use floating pieces either, sometimes big spaces call for praise-worthy roominess, and floating pieces work well when you want to give some wide open spaces.
