'Tis the most nostalgic time of year. We love this return to Hallmark level sweetness. Whether it's the memory of eating in fancy church clothes or some delicious food only your grandmother could make, this time of year is heavy handed on the traditions. Our families are what we make, whether that's a group of friends you chose or the people you share a name with, it's a time full of love for those individuals, and the experiences you have with them. Pour the cocoa, stoke the fire, dim the lights, we love the traditions of this time of year.
Holiday Traditions
Timeless or trendy, traditions are special and resonate deep within us. From the simple red ribbon holding the mistletoe over a doorway, to fur lined stockings over the crackling fire-- we are celebrating those traditions. We love seeing unique takes on decor, including in the less than obvious spaces. Children's rooms are a fabulous way to get festive and experiment, like this darling pink Christmas tree or the blue snowflakes falling behind the twin bed.
Adorning wreaths with matching evergreen and ribbons looks so put together and brings holiday flare around the whole space. Keeping details like ribbons streamline make the look very put together. We appreciate an added table topper tree and know this is a beloved tradition in many homes. It is often the more subtle decorations that capture our hearts every year-- a favorite inherited Christmas house from a grandparents or a certain coffee table book that only comes out during this season. Even built-ins have their own place for traditions when people put away the annual look for something purely seasonal.
